Playing with aperture/depth of field – outdoors

After my previous post about testing Aperture/Depth of field indoors I ventured out into the great outdoors the day after to practice outside. I set my camera to Aperture priority and off I went.

The first image shows a small depth of field. The settings I used to get this shot were:

Aperture: F/5.6

ISO: 100

Focal length: 18mm

The second image shows a larger depth of field. The settings I used to obtain this shot were:

Aperture: F/22

ISO: 800

Focal Length: 18mm
